Tasting Comment:

The Tengumai ‘Gorin’ series is limited (300 bottles pa) and created by 8th-generation owner Mr Shata and Toji (chief Sake maker) Mr Okada to focus on food pairing synergy.

Produced from 100% Yamadanishiki Sake Rice, this Junmai is clean and elegant, with banana, muscat and pear-like aromas.

The Umami and good acidity will enable it to go well with a variety of food flavours, especially Mediterranean dishes such as Acquapazza, Caprese, Caponata, and Traditional Japanese dishes like Tuna sashimi, Bonito tataki or vinegared mackerel.
