Tasting Comment:

“Kokusan” means locally grown, and “nanko Ume” refers to a highly prized Japanese ume variety. This umeshu is made exclusively from 100% locally grown, fully ripened nanko Ume.

It offers a highly aromatic nose with notes of marzipan and a smooth, rich texture. The natural sweetness creates a clean, well-balanced palate with tangy, complex flavours.

Enjoy it chilled, straight, over ice, or with cold soda water for a refreshing experience. You can also use it to craft a variety of delicious umeshu cocktails.
