Deja vu Sake Company was established in 2012 to import a selected range of extraordinary quality Sake brands to the Australian market. We currently represent 11 Sake brands that offer a diverse range of products to suit all tastes and budgets. All of the sake brands we represent are family owned and come from different regions within Japan. Each sake brand has a fascinating history and produces its own ‘house style of sake’. Our brands range in age from a 100-year-old house to the 3rd oldest existing sake brewery with over 530 years of history. 

As well as Japanese Sake, we also import Mars Japanese whisky, Shochu, Umeshu/Yuzushu and Japanese wine.

We import sake using ‘reefer’ containers from Japan to ensure freshness and quality and then store everything in a temperature-controlled warehouse in Australia.  All our staff are trained to the highest level to ensure we can provide the best Sake advice and customer service. We also host Sake events for both trade and consumers.  

Co-founder Yukino Ochiai is the first WSET Sake Level 3 Educator in Australia, and the first female ‘Sake Samurai’ in Australia.
