Tasting Comment:

‘Issehara’ is Katsunuma Jyozo’s flagship wine. It is produced from 100% Koshu grapes grown on the single vineyard ‘Issehara’, located within the Katsunuma area of Yamanashi.
This special vineyard is only 2ha in size with exceptional terroir alongside the river with its shingle soil and refreshing breeze, and significant temperature variation from day to night.
This wine was fermented in stainless steel. The resultant wine shows a flamboyant aroma and has good balance and refreshing acidity with plenty of juicy flavours of citrus and peach.
