Tasting Comment:

The Ume fruit for this Umeshu is grown in the Chita peninsula, Japan. The warm climate in Chita gives more natural ripeness in Ume.

Umeshu is produced by infusing Ume into Shochu.

The nose and palate show marzipan with and rich texture. It is sweet and tangy with complex flavours.

It is refreshing to have chilled Umeshu straight over ice, or with cold soda water. Or you can create any kind of beautiful Umeshu cocktail.
