KATSUNUMA JOZO ARUGA BRANCA ‘PIPA’ KOSHU

勝沼醸造 アルガブランカ ピッパ 甲州

Available in 750ml

Tasting Comment:

‘Pipa’ is produced from 100% Koshu grown in the Katsunuma area of Yamanashi Prefecture.

The Koshu is a Japanese local grape variety. It is delicate, clean and minerally, and delivers subtle fruit characters like white peach and grapefruit, as well as vanilla tones.
‘Pipa’ is aged in French oak (only 5% is new oak) for between 6-12 months and then further matured in the bottle for over 12 months before release.

The wine shows the intensity of fruit with a rich but subtle oak aroma, and is complex, and relatively full-bodied, on the palate with beautiful balance.
