Tasting Comment:

Kuu Junmai Daiginjo is Houraisen’s flagship sake, and this very special aged edition of Kuu is only released every four years, so it is very limited.

Sake rice used is 100% Yamadanishiki, and is carefully crafted, then given 10 years in cool storage for further maturation. As you would expect in a special Sake like this, the aroma and flavour are beautifully integrated and become softer and creamier inthe mouth with beautiful complexity.

Dried fruits, caramel, Hoji roasted tea, roasted nuts and warm spices are present with a long, clean, crisp finish.

Food Suggestion: Roast beef, meat ball, steaks, matured cheese.
