Since 2012, Yukino Ochiai has wasted no time in establishing Deja Vu Sake Company; a portfolio selection of Japan’s best Sake, Whisky and Shochu houses. Strong relationships have been built with each house.

In April of this year, Yukino was certified Japanese Sake educator by the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) in London.

Yukino is the first and only certified Sake educator in Australia. The establishment of Deja Vu Sake Company began two years ago.

Yukino and her husband Andrew (one of the founders of Deja Vu Wine Company) had a vision to introduce Sake to the Australian market.

After having gained precious experience in Sake making and discussing their ideas with owners from a number of visits, five premium and established sake brands joined Deja Vu Sake Company.

All the sake houses are family owned and come from various regions. Each sake house has a rich and fascinating history. The houses ages range from nearly 100 years old to the 5th oldest existing sake brewery with over 460 years of history and experience.

Deja Vu Sake Company is distributed by Deja Vu Wine Company.
